IL Mito _ The Myth Euterpe, the muse of Music, is Mnemosine’s daughter, the goddess of Memory. So we shouldn’t be surprised if Music is the common thread of memories and yearning which bring back good and bad moments of our life. The music begins with the mother’s voice who puts up to sleep. It then continues with the songs of a first kiss and love. It then accompanies us through the history of man and his social attainments, achievements of freedom and change, from Mozart to Rock’n roll. Great musicians who became undoubtedly the icons of this ever-evolving Society. This is what Valentina Sisto’s exhibition represents a tribute to those who built their careers defending values that are too often forgotten: peace, brotherhood, and charity.Remember John Lennon? He inspired entire generations along with other leading protagonists, by contributing to creating new formations for the younger generations. Growth that actually comes from afar, Pythagoras emphasized the value of music by highlighting its mathematical value. Therefore, they are not just posters in the room of girls and boys in love but authentic works of art that are shaped by the expert hands of a young artist that brings back memories not of idols but of men who through their wisdom, talent and generosity created harmonies that accompany us throughout our lives, and will accompany us again and again. Music does not tire, it does not end or die and neither do its protagonists. Thank you Valentina for giving meaning to the important figures of world music with your talent and creativity.
